Vincent Kam, Project Manager

Vincent Kam Vincent Kam is a Computer Science major with a severe allergic reaction to bullshit. He has been gaming for as long as he can remember, playing PC games as well as consoles from Atari to Gameboy to the Playstation 3. When he’s not saving the world from an ancient evil for the nth time, he enjoys beating up kicking shields, focus mitts, rattan sticks, table tennis balls, and piano sheet music. His weapons of choice are twin broadswords because everyone knows that swords deal more damage than guns, and two swords are better than one. However, knowing that the pen is mightier than the sword, he also has interests in doodling and writing.

Chris Barnes, Lead Programmer

Chris Barnes Chris Barnes is an undergraduate student in the department of Information Science at Cornell University. He is expecting to complete his BA in the program in May 2009. Chris is primarily interested in the architecture and interface design of web-based applications, and will be joining Electronic Arts's Redwood Shores studio after graduation to work on other online stuff. He has worked on many, many web projects, including most recently The Cornell Daily Sun as a two-term Web Editor. He is an avid Mac user and generally dislikes Windows. Chris's favorite game of all time is Myst, and in general he prefers adventure-oriented games like that.

Noa Ikeda, Lead Artist

Noa Ikeda The freshman of the team, Noa Ikeda is currently in the midway point of converting from the dreaded Fine Arts major to the awesome Information Science major. After experiencing a semester of reading and making gibberish ‘artsy’ things, she decided to follow through with her love for video games and her dream of becoming a concept artist. She has worked on over 200 private commissions for individuals and has left a small legend in her high school art academy.

Tian Li, Programmer

Tian Li Tian’s ability to write autobiographies is limited so we advise that you stop reading this paragraph now so you do not waste the next minute of your life. Are you still reading this? Ok, we tried to warn you. Tian is a junior in computer science (although he dislikes programming) and operations research (although he dislikes mathematics). As an international student from Canada, he is obligated to end at least half of his sentences with "eh?" and to plan his daily schedule around the match times of NHL hockey games. Once upon a time, he dreamed of a career in financial mathematics but he has since reconsidered. An interesting fact about him is that he finds e^(i*pi)+1=0 to be extremely ugly. In his spare time, he enjoys flying kites (both figuratively and literally), riding polar bears, and pondering about the meaning of life.

Joseph Dao, Programmer

Joe Dao When Joe is not on secret missions as a ninja fighting crime in the streets of Ithaca, he lives the hardcore life of a Computer Science geek. He comes from North Providence, Rhode Island, and loves drinking from bubblers. He grew up with a fascination of computers, especially with computer graphics and web design. After taking his first Computer Science course, he realized that CS was his destiny. Some of his favorite games include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Portal, Starcraft, Guitar Hero, and not to mention classics like Megaman, Sonic, and of course, Pokemon. He enjoys playing Super Smash Brothers: Melee; the Ice Climbers are his main. He loves music and will one day drop everything to become a rockstar.
